A public private partnership with 42 organisations working together to grow car sharing in the Netherlands

The Green Carsharing Deal is an agreement between a broad coalition of providers of car sharing, leasing companies, insurance companies, municipalities, businesses, interest groups as well as the national government, to join forces with the aim to expand the car sharing concept and implementation. The Green Carsharing Deal is an initiative that offers companies and organizations an opportunity to cooperate with the government to achieve green growth.
Publications with policy advice for municipalities and the national government were made, autodelen.info was launches and many more activities and achievements were accomplished. The idea was followed suite by our Belgian friends who brought to life a Green Deal Shared Mobility. The universal car sharing logo is used in internationally in Bremen (DE), Bergen (NO) and will be adopted in Flanders (BE) too.
